Greetings from the Doozy Strap, fresh off our latest excursion to Europe — London – Amsterdam – Frankfurt. While I have been aquainted with Europe for some time, Europe had never seen the likes of the Doozy Strap. So how did it go? Well…. not that great to be honest. I could sit here and give you the run around and talk it up like it was a huge trip, but that’s not how we roll here at BeverageOutfitters.com …. nothing but Torpedo’s of Truth.
Here in the states if you sport a Doozy in public, especially in the likes of Pubs, Carnival Celebrations, and street markets… you are guaranteed to get looks and questions about “that thing around your neck?”. Europe… not really a big attention getter. Now London on the other hand was much more into the Doozy than Amsterdam and Frankfurt, maybe it is the closer similarities to our cultures; or that the great nation of America - through rebellion and acts of pure lionheartedness - was spawned from the UK.
At any rate, after much thinking and pondering on the plane I’ve chalked it up to a great experience and nothing more. I think at the end of the day the way of life in Europe is just not screaming for the Doozy Srap… all drinks are poured into a glass, the beer is never even served to you cold – so there really is no need to keep it cold, and people would rather sit down and take their time with their drinks. Let’s just face it people, all day beach excursions, monster tailgating parties that could feed all of Romania, 1,000 person beer pong tournaments, and drinking while hunting, fishing, or shooting skeet; are things that we share with no nation.
